Plurifil has formulated, filled and labelled automotive chemicals in Rio de Mouro since 1976. We manufacture under the brand of whoever sells them: antifreeze, brake fluids, car care and more.

A Portuguese family business, Plurifil has made its own formulas in Sintra since 1976. For decades we have worked as a private label manufacturer for retailers, distributors and auto centre chains, under the seller's own name.
Redex and Max are our own brands: created, formulated and packed at our factory. The Redex Detail Series, launched in 2026, is the most recent example. It's the same work we do for each client's brand.

10,000 m² of covered space on a 22,000 m² site in the Cabra Figa industrial park, in Rio de Mouro, 20 km from Lisbon. Offices, laboratory, filling lines and warehouses on the same site.
Lines for detergents, lubricating oils, pastes and greases, plus two PET blow-moulding machines: our packaging is made in-house too. From here come our two own brands, Redex and Max, and our private label clients' brands.

Production
With the formula finalised, we go into production under your brand.
There is no fixed lead time or minimum quantity published here. Both depend on the product family and the complexity of the formula, and are agreed in conversation.
What private label buyers usually ask.
Do you manufacture with the formula we already have, or only with Plurifil formulas?
Both. Some companies bring a finalised formula to produce under their brand, and others start from one of our formulations and adapt it. The starting point is defined at first contact.
What is the minimum order quantity?
It varies by product family and packaging format. We share the minimum quantity for your specific request at the quotation stage.
How long does it take to reach production?
It depends on the complexity of the formula, the packaging and approvals on the client's side. It's defined after the sample and the quote.
Do you work with certifications and regulatory documentation (CLP, REACH)?
We share the relevant technical and regulatory documentation on request, during the quotation process, confirmed product by product.
Do you export to other European Union markets?
Yes, case by case depending on the country and the product. Logistics and documentation are handled in the quote.
Do you work under a non-disclosure agreement?
Yes, on request. Formulas and commercial terms discussed before an NDA are limited to what's essential to assess feasibility.
