How to use

The right order to wash, protect and finish your car with the Redex Detail Series range. Start with the dirtiest areas, reduce contact with the paintwork and apply each product at the right moment.
Before you start
Work on a cool car, in the shade, with clean cloths and accessories. Use separate tools for wheels, paintwork, glass and interior. Always read the label before applying each product.

Wheels first
Wheel Cleaner 500 ml Detail
Start with the wheels, as they are one of the dirtiest, most contaminated areas. Apply the Wheel Cleaner to cool wheels, leave it to work as shown on the label and rinse thoroughly.
Detailer's tipNever use the same cloths, brushes or accessories on the paintwork that you use on the wheels.

Snow foam pre-wash
Snow Foam with Connector 1 L
After the wheels, attach the Snow Foam with connector to your hose and cover the bodywork in foam, from top to bottom. Leave it for the time shown on the label and rinse.
Detailer's tipThe less dirt on the paintwork before you touch it by hand, the better the final finish.

Washing the bodywork
Snow Foam 1 L Detail
After the pre-wash, wash the bodywork section by section. Start with the roof and move on to the glass, bonnet, sides and lower areas. Rinse thoroughly and don't let the product dry on the surface.
Detailer's tipAlways wash from top to bottom. The lower areas collect the most dirt and should be left until last.

Drying
Detailing cloths or chamois
Before applying any protection or finish, dry the bodywork with a clean microfibre. A clean, dry surface helps the Detailer Ceramic and Tyre Shine go on more evenly.
Detailer's tipDon't let water dry on the paintwork by itself, especially in the sun.

Paintwork protection
Detailer Ceramic 500 ml
With the bodywork clean and dry, apply the Detailer Ceramic to small sections. Spread it with a clean microfibre for shine, finish and a water-repellent effect.

Glass last
Glass Cleaner 2 L
Fill the screenwash reservoir with the product diluted as shown on the label. Every spray loosens dust, insects and rain marks from the windscreen - full visibility behind the wheel.
Detailer's tipDon't fill the reservoir with product only - a 2 L bottle makes about two full reservoirs. Always follow the label.

Tyre finish
Tyre Shine 500 ml Detail
With the tyres clean and dry, apply the Tyre Shine to the sidewall to finish them off and lift the overall look of the car. Spread evenly and remove any excess if needed.
Detailer's tipApply to the tyre sidewall only. Avoid the tread, brakes and wheels.

A clean, matte interior
Detailer Interior 500 ml
Finish in the cabin. Apply the Detailer Interior to the surfaces shown on the label and spread with a clean microfibre. Ideal for keeping a natural, cared-for matte finish inside your car.
Detailer's tipStart with the upper areas of the interior and leave the most-touched areas until last.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Don't start on the paintwork while the wheels are dirty.
- Don't apply protection over dirt.
- Don't use the same cloth on the whole car.
- Don't let product dry in the sun.
- Don't apply Tyre Shine to the tread.
Safe use
Always read the label before use. Apply each product only to the surfaces indicated and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Where applicable, test on an inconspicuous area first. See the Safety Data Sheet where available.

No. The Detailer Ceramic is applied by hand with the cloth: spray, spread and buff dry. No curing, no sanding, no machine.
Is the kit worth it instead of buying only what I need?
Separately, it's €48.93. In the kit you pay €39.55 and the towel is free. With the Kit + Accessories (€54.28) you add the brush, mitt, applicators and cloths, and shipping is free in Portugal.
Do I need the accessories or is the Kit enough?
We recommend the Kit + Accessories. The wheel brush, mitt, applicators and cloths are what give you a detailer's finish.
Does the Wheel Cleaner really turn purple? Is that normal?
Yes. The purple is the reaction to iron and brake dust. It isn't paint or damage.
