Where to use
Chrome, polished, painted and gloss wheels.
Always apply to a cool wheel and rinse thoroughly. On special wheels or ones with a delicate finish, test first on a small area.
How to use
- Spray it on clear. On a cool wheel, cover the whole face and the inner barrel.
- It turns purple where there's iron. The formula reacts with the brake dust stuck to the clear coat.
- Rinse and it all comes off. Pressure-rinse and the iron goes with the water, with no dry scrubbing and no risk to the clear coat.
Why does it turn purple?
The purple is the signature of the reaction with the iron in brake dust. The darker it gets, the more iron there was to dissolve.
It's an indicator, not paint on the wheel: it disappears when you rinse.
